To whom it may concern, As a person who believes very strongly in the Bill of Rights, and the Second Amendment in particular, I find the recent actions of Smith & Wesson, in putting their own profits over the Constitutional rights and basic human rights of the gun owners who have made Smith & Wesson profitable all these years and submitting to the treacherous demands of the Clinton administration, to be totally reprehensible and without any virtue whatsoever. This "Deal with the Devil," completely bypasses Congress in creating new levels of gun control on a national scale. It requires Smith & Wesson dealers to take actions that would adversely affect individual gun owners, even if the gun the individual was buying were of another brand and purchased from another individual at a gun show. For these reasons, I am notifying "ALL" of the gun stores (and department stores that have gun departments) that I have dealt with over the past five years and letting them know how I feel and informing them that I will no longer do business with them in any manner, if they continue to carry Smith & Wesson products of any kind. I am informing these dealers that it is my intention to advance the purchase date of my next handgun to within the next two months and to add to that, a second handgun purchase. I am further informing them that I will buy only NON-Smith and Wesson weapons and ONLY from dealers that do NOT sell Smith and Wesson products. My reason for advancing my purchase and adding a second handgun to the deal is to support the remaining PATRIOTIC gun manufacturers and dealers, by purchasing their products. I am also sending in additional donations to the National Rifle Association (NRA), the Gun Owners of America (GOA) and the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF). At this time, when not only our Constitutional rights, but our basic human rights are under such vicious attack by the Clinton-Gore administration, it is imperative that we all stand firm. By putting profits before principle Smith & Wesson has shown that it no longer deserves my business, or the business of any PATRIOTIC AMERICAN. By association, neither do any Smith & Wesson Dealers who continue to deal in Smith & Wesson products. They have betrayed those gun owners who have kept them in business. It is now time that those same gun owners put these traitors out of business, by refusing to deal with them in any manner. I'm the NRA. In Liberty, (sign your name here)
